Thanks, I think

Who would have thought? Opening statements in Michael Jackson's molestation trial finally began Monday. I've been in denial. I could hardly believe Jackson's $25M payoff, the graphic allegations (the boy claims Jackson gave him porn and wine, aka "Jesus Juice"), and the witness list (what the heck is Elizabeth Taylor and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter going to say?).

Now that the trial's started, E! is going to air re-enactments of court testimony. Yay, Hollywood's taking on the legal world.

Check out this AP story about about the happy marriage between E! and Court TV:

"Asked if legal turf was appropriate for a channel focused on entertainment news, [E! president Ted] Harbert responded: 'Is there some rule that only Court TV is allowed to do this because their name is Court TV?'"

Thanks, I think.
