Pre-holiday checklist
Usually the holidays are a time to relax, but this year was stressful for me. Adding to the drama were all the things I had to take care of in New York before I flew home to California on Dec. 18. Thankfully, I've completed almost everything on my pre-holiday checklist:
Bake 25 dozen cookies and a Nutella cake for my side business, Su Good Sweets.
Write three stories for Courttv Online. I wrote about a female teacher accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl after a pagan wedding, a man who killed a boy who allegedly threw a potato through the man's window, and a silly holiday story that will be posted soon.
Accept a job offer. :-)
Get trained in the new job. Well, sort of. I got trained once and will continue in Jan.
Write thank you notes to various media people who have helped me.
Contact an entertainment editor at Glamour.
Buy/make holiday gifts. Eh, still needs some work.
Whew, what a busy week! Okay, I did the last two things after I came home, but now I think I can finally relax.
